Government authorities’ protective measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 are having a significant impact on our daily lives and business activities.

At GEFCO, we care about our customers, employees and suppliers and business continuity.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, GEFCO teams have been mobilized to manage the consequences of government directives, first in China, and today in Europe and the rest of the world.

Governments are continuing to adapt their response to this crisis swiftly. Preventive measures, such as quarantines and traffic restrictions are increasing.

The intensity of these measures varies depending on the country, region, or city. The shutdown of some transport infrastructures due to ‘force majeure’ is already envisaged.

These unprecedented circumstances are making the execution of the logistic flows you have entrusted us with extremely difficult.

Every day, our employees do their best to continue operations on your behalf. However, and depending on the circumstances, your GEFCO contact will need to discuss with you the implementation of alternative plans. These could require a significant adaptation of your service including lead-times, routing, transportation mode and/or type and pricing.
